WATCH: Colorado District 3 Democratic challenger Adam Frisch officially concedes to Rep. Lauren Boebert

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - On Friday, candidate for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district Adam Frisch officially conceded to incumbent Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO).

Frisch said that his campaign will not ask for a recount, but one will would most likely be mandated based on Colorado election laws. He said he does not want to give his supporters “false hope” with such a small margin.

“I just got off the phone with Representitive Boebert, I called her to formally concede this election,” Frisch said Friday morning in a live update.

Frisch also used his announcement to vocalize his belief in Colorado’s election system, calling it “safe, accurate and secure.” He said he will use the next few weeks to reflect on what he can do to “continue to work for the people of western and southern Colorado and this great nation.”
