COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police were able to convince a wanted man to surrender, bringing a peaceful end to a standoff in an east Springs neighborhood.

Officers went to a home near Winston Road and Brady Boulevard shortly after noon to arrest the suspect, who was wanted on multiple felony warrants. What started as a routine warrant execution quickly turned into a standoff when the man refused to exit the home.

At one point, our reporter at the scene heard officers shouting through a bullhorn for the suspect to come out of the home or else more aggressive measures would be used. Flash bangs were also heard at the scene, which police said were used to get his attention.

Around 1:30, the suspect finally decided to walk out the back door and turn himself over to police.

Police identified the suspect as Noah Lovato.

The neighborhood is just southeast of Circle and Maizeland.
