THIS WEEKEND: Spotty showers could begin as early as mid-morning, but the heavier rain and thunderstorms look to arrive in the afternoon on Saturday. We also have a better chance at thunderstorms approaching Pueblo and areas north of highway 50. Concerns continue to be flash flooding and gusty outflow winds that could approach 50 mph. Some smaller hail will be possible under any thunderstorm as well. Sunday offers another spotty storm chance, but looks like the less active day as compared to Saturday. It will also be a bit cooler... temperatures will only be in the low to middle 80s both days.

NEXT WEEK: We’ll see a few spotty storm chances on Monday, with more sunshine by Tuesday and Wednesday. The drier and hotter trend sticks around through the end of the work week!
