No serious injuries reported after a semi turned over along I-25 on Tuesday
PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A serious crash involving a semi-truck closed both directions of I-25 in the Pueblo area for a short time Tuesday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 1:54 p.m. and originally had both northbound and the southbound side of the interstate closed. The semi-truck had turned over. No injuries were reported. At about 3:05 p.m. southbound was back open, but traffic was still impacted in both directions. A tow truck was on scene at about 3:45 p.m. and the semi was removed at about 4 p.m.
The crash happened on the north side of the highway and debris ended up on the southbound side, according to Capt. Kenny Rider with the Pueblo Police Department. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and investigators don’t believe alcohol played a factor.
