More than 140 COVID-19 cases at Fremont Correction Facility

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Fremont Correctional Facility reportedly has more than 140 COVID-19 cases within the facility. The Fremont Department of Public Health and Environment posted the new numbers Thursday evening.

The Department of Corrections tells 11 news they are doing ongoing testing at the facility and the number of cases is expected to change each day because of that.

There are more than 240 positive COVID-19 cases at the facility and six people have recovered from the virus. In total more than 3,700 people at Fremont Correctional Facility have been tested for the virus. You can click here to see the current numbers.
